Working on
Two active research projects - one on Autonomous Robot Manipulation, another touching World Models. Both are moving fast and keeping me honest about what I actually understand.
Reading
A growing pile of papers I owe two faculty members responses on, plus Thinking Fast and Slow, which I keep returning to between research sessions.
Thinking about
Whether to aim for industry research roles or go for grad school. The honest answer is: both feel right, and I haven't decided yet.
Next up
Preparing applications for research internships starting early 2027. If your lab works on Robotics, CV, or NLP - I'd be glad to talk.

I am a third-year undergraduate at IIIT Delhi, studying Computer Science with Applied Mathematics. I like understanding things before I build them, and building them to understand them better. My work has settled, somewhat naturally, at the intersection of machine learning, robotics, and computer vision - not because I planned it that way, but because the questions kept pulling me there. I'm drawn to problems where the math and the implementation have to talk to each other, and I've learned to trust that instinct.

Right now I'm working on scalable robot manipulation and exploring how world models behave when you replace heavy encoders with smaller, task-specialized networks. On the side, I'm poking at LLM fine-tuning - particularly the edges of what reinforcement-based training actually teaches a model. This summer I'll be joining BNY Mellon as a software engineering intern. I'm going deep on things I find genuinely interesting, which feels like the right way to spend this part.
